Transcript for "SS&C Blue Prism Roadmap - The Future of Agentic Automation - Session 1": In a world where technology is constantly evolving, one concept is redefining what's possible, agentic automation. Agentic automation is more than just a buzzword. It's a game changer. But with great power comes great responsibility, and the gap between promise and results is vast. What if you could turn AI hype into tangible ROI where every solution is grounded in real world use cases, not marketing promises, where AI innovation is balanced with governance and trust, where AI is ready to deliver value from day one, helping you innovate faster, better, and with bigger impact. SS and C Blue Prism, our agents mean business. Hello, everyone, and welcome to SS and C's intelligent automation road map presentation. My name is Patrick Tine, and I'm the vice president of SS and C's intelligent automation product team. Over the past several weeks, my teams have been working hard to bring you the latest version of our roadmap, where we're focused on meeting you where you are in your automation journey and building strong value for your organization. During this presentation, you'll hear our planned intentions for deliverables with both product strategy and product enhancement detail. This is being provided for informational purposes only, and the information in this presentation is confidential and proprietary to SS and C and may not be disclosed without prior written consent. We make no guarantee of any information within this road map and the timing of development, release, and implementation for any product, feature, or functionality, including upgrades, shall be decided at SS and C's sole discretion and is subject to change. Before we begin, I wanna go through a few housekeeping items. First, recording this event is going to be made available to everyone who registered for these webinars. You can resize, and if you have any questions at any point during the presentation, you can use the q and a box on your screen to submit them as we also have a team of product managers who are working behind the scenes and ready to answer your questions. And if we didn't have time to respond to your question, we will follow-up privately after the webinar. I'm going to now introduce Omid to walk you through our intelligent automation roadmap. Thank you, Patrick, and hello, everyone. Let's start by outlining a few impactful trends in the automation market that are influencing us to shift our product strategy in a few key areas. Let's start by talking about the shift to API based automation. I'm sure we all recognize the fundamental benefits that come from automating an application using its API over a UI based approach. Mainly API based automations are faster, reliable, and more cost effective. This isn't to say that UI based automations aren't going away, they still play a critical role within the automation estate and we continue to invest in enhancing these capabilities. However, with modern application stacks and increasing SaaS adoption, strong API integration capability has become a must. And it's not just SOAP and REST anymore. We increasingly have customer interest about interacting with other protocols like GraphQL as well. While digital workers can already handle outbound API integrations, there is a growing demand to do it better and for cheaper. We also have the rise of AI agents. There is a strong market interest in experimenting with AI agents as a mean to automate in areas never before considered possible. However, the data shows that the vast majority of organizations are struggling to move from experimentation to actually deploying agents into production. Some of the key barriers to operationalizing AI agents include lacking security, governance and the agents non deterministic behavior and an unclear return on investment. Our focus going forward is to equip you with the technology to use the AI agents securely with the right levels of governance for the appropriate use cases. With a more complex work environment where digital workers, AI agents and humans need to work seamlessly together, there is a profound need to orchestrate work across these resources within the predefined business process. Whilst Chorus BPM has acted as the central nervous system for many enterprises for years, we recognize that our customers want a more lightweight approach to stitch together different tasks to enable end to end process automations and execute them using the best resources available to you. Analyst firms globally are highlighting the consolidation of historically disjointed technologies, all under one umbrella. This is resulting in new analyst categories like Dartmouth Boat being published and gaining significant traction in 2025. With that context in mind, our priority heading into 2026 are the following. We are modernizing and unifying our technology stack using cloud native microservices and containerization, as well as enhancing deployment models to help lower your total cost of ownership and meet you where you are. There was a major focus on unifying your experience across different products and components and improving the look and feel so that our end users enjoy their time automating faster and easier. Later in this presentation, we unveil our plans to introduce new products to help you orchestrate work across workflows involving humans, digital workers and AI agents, as well as our new exciting AI agent builder, which enables you to create, fine tune and deploy your own AI agents within the context of your governed workflows. We're also focused on enabling you to use a wide variety of built in connectors, as well as giving you the ability to create integrations with all the systems your company depends on. This promotes an open ecosystem that is underpinned by governance, flexibility and security. All of this results in what we're calling an automation fabric. The unification of humans, digital workers, systems and AI agents in one central commando. App. Let's break down how this automation fabric plays a central role in your automation journey. Our central node is the new agentic workflows that acts as a glue holding the logical flow in which your automations are run by digital workers, AI agents and humans. Through a wide set of pre built connectors, you can integrate your external systems and other SS and C products and connect them to your automation mothership. Unlike the competition, we have paved the way for you to get started with these new capabilities as soon as they become available without having to necessarily commit to migrating your entire automation estate in one go. This means that you can use our new agentic workflows and AI agents in harmony with Blue Prism Enterprise version 7.4 or later and next gen digital workers. SS and C Blue Prism's core value proposition heading into 2026 is one platform that puts all the automation tools at your disposal to deploy for the right job at the right time to enable end to end business transformation. And while many vendors are chasing the same capability, our differentiation is simple with a focus on compliance, security and governance as we're trusted in regulated industries to handle mission critical work and help elevate productivity. We're committed to make our deployment models as flexible as possible, meeting you where you are in your journey with us. Today, you can use Automation Orchestrator to connect your BPE and BPC digital workers to Next Gen to orchestrate and optimize your automation operations. You also have the ability to host your Next Gen native digital workers on premise, whilst your automation design, operations and platform runs in cloud. In the 2026, we will support a fully hosted next gen option with digital workers run as a managed service in our cloud and by the 2026, you will be able to deploy the entire next gen stack in your cloud of choice, containerizing modern technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, Mongo and Postgres. Let's now talk about computer use, the next big thing in AI driven automation, which forms an integral part of our larger vision, and we're sharing high level view of our approach to start bringing this to life by combining human designed automations with AI driven execution. The term computer use can mean different things to different people, so let's start by defining what we mean by it. Computer use is an emerging AI capability that enables human like interactions with software applications by way of seeing the screen, interpreting the content, and performing actions and achieve a desired outcome. Essentially, there's a descriptive label for the underlying technology that programmatically mimics human interactions with software applications. As we explore computer use, it's essential to separate hype from reality. While it's easy to use for small tasks, it requires iterative prompt design for complex tasks. Many demos show end to end automation with human like reasoning, but in reality it has limited autonomy and often requires human oversight for complex interactions. Additionally, computer use is slow, especially when relying on vision and costly due to high number of token usage even for relatively small tasks. It's essential to understand and acknowledge these limitations so that we can set realistic expectations and work towards designing an effective solution that leverages the strengths of computer use. At SS and C Blupism, we're taking a cautious yet deliberate approach to AI augmented automation based on three principles. Firstly, we plan to ensure controlled access by limiting interactions to existing SPY elements, reducing the risk of unexpected behavior. Secondly, we are prioritizing text over vision, relying on AI models to work with application attributes and relying on vision only as a last resort, thereby reducing compute and complexity. Lastly, we recommend a focused start by using computer use only for specific well defined tasks and avoiding multiple interactions in a single prompt. In future releases, we also plan to introduce interaction with model context protocol servers or MCPs to augment RPA workflows. By taking a pragmatic and phased approach, we can unlock the full potential of computer use and deliver significant value to our customers and partners. With that introduction out of the way, I would now like to invite Rob to walk us through our current gen roadmap. Thank you. Hello, everyone. My name is Rob Nicklin, and I'm excited to be here today to talk you through several upcoming releases from our current gen product roadmap. I'm going to start with a roundup of some of the products we've recently delivered. In q two, we released SS and C Blue Prism enterprise seven four one, and with it, Automation Orchestrator, our first powered by next gen product offering. This release was made available to both our on premise and Blue Prism Cloud clients and integrates Blue Prism Enterprise with our next gen platform, providing users access to enhanced digital worker orchestration capabilities like automation flows and event based triggers to improve the productivity of their digital workforce. Alongside these releases, we also delivered Blue Prism Desktop 1.3, enhancing our attended automation product to be compatible with our latest releases and delivering several enhancements for better human and digital worker collaboration. Finally, we also launched our new EU hosted server for SmartVision. This gives customers the flexibility to use SmartVision within the EU, helping them to handle sensitive customer data securely and meet GDPR and regional compliance requirements. Now on to our upcoming roadmap releases, and we're going to start with Blue Prism Enterprise. This is the core robotic process automation solution in the SS and C product portfolio and is designed to deliver and support large scale automation programmes in complex enterprise environments. The Blue Prism digital workforce excels in automating repetitive, rules based tasks, which can be extended and supplemented with AI, machine learning, and intelligent document processing for a truly impressive set of capabilities spanning use cases across multiple industries. Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4 is our most recent release in the version seven series and has generated considerable excitement and uptake thanks to the inclusion of several big usability, performance, and extensibility improvements, as well as our new automation orchestrator capability. Today, I'm excited to take you through the features that we plan to include in upcoming releases. We'll start with backward compatibility, a feature that will prove to be a major operational improvement, making upgrades a lot less painful for customers and encouraging them to adopt newer versions faster than ever before, starting with the release of Blue Prism Enterprise 7.5 in December. Backwards compatibility will lay the foundation for a better upgrade experience by allowing customers to connect existing runtime resources to a newer version of the application server, massively reducing the immediate risk of any regression impacting ongoing operations. Whilst users will still need to perform regression testing, this approach makes it easier to plan and execute an upgrade without disruption. This leads to reduced infrastructure costs by enabling in place upgrades and removes the risk of downtime after the upgrade as automations continue to run on the previous version while a staggered migration to the new version takes place. We'll be launching Blue Prism Enterprise 7.5 initially with support for connecting version seven one two digital workers, and we'll be extending to more historic versions in subsequent patch releases in 2026. As operators can now run automations on multiple versions of the digital worker, we've extended the display of workers in the control room to include the detail of what version is being run to support automation orchestration in environments that are running both old and new digital workers. In the 2026, we'll take the first step towards implementing our vision of AI augmented automation in Blue Prism Enterprise 7.6 by introducing the ability to leverage prompts to automate business applications. With this enhancement, we're making it easier for users to automate parts of their processes by using natural language prompts to drive programmatic interactions. This augments traditional RPA techniques, creating processes that are more adaptable and reliable that can handle evolving application landscapes. In practice, this means our customers will have a user friendly way to incorporate prompts into existing workflows, thereby making development more efficient. The actions taken on the back of the prompt will be captured for audit purposes, and with our open source models hosted on SS and C's private cloud, you can trust that your data will remain private and secure, never being sent to external proprietary models or used for training purposes. Both Blue Prism Enterprise seven point five and seven point six will include several features in addition to the ones I've mentioned today, some of which I wanted to call out here before moving on to other products in our current gen portfolio. In version 7.5, clients will benefit from the introduction of a new webhooks feature that improves the integration of Blue Prism Enterprise into complex business process workflows. Using this feature, users and external systems will benefit from improved efficiency by subscribing to updates on specific work queue items, receiving notifications when those items have either been completed or generated exceptions to allow for tighter integrations and the automatic triggering of subsequent processing. Another area of interest in this release will be browser automation, as we extend our existing Chromium based application modelling capability and allow it to be used with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, effectively enabling browser automation without relying on the use of a browser extension. In version 7.6, we'll be responding to several common customer enhancement requests by extending the authentication capabilities of the product to enable the use of the Blue Prism API without the need to install and integrate with an instance of Blue Prism Hub, simplifying customer infrastructure requirements significantly. Additionally, continuing on the theme of authentication improvements in version 7.6, we plan to introduce the ability to integrate with Entra ID for the authentication of the interactive clients and digital worker components to support those clients who are migrating away from traditional active directory infrastructure. User and permission management are expected to operate very similarly to our existing AD capabilities, including the mapping of security groups to user roles. Now let's turn our focus to SS and C Blue Prism Hub and Interact. Hub is a lightweight, flexible framework with an extensive plugin architecture that enables products to work seamlessly alongside Blue Prism Enterprise. Interact acts as one of the most heavily used plugins, allowing for seamless real time collaboration between digital workers and humans. The next release of our Hub and Interact products is version 5.2, in which we'll introduce a new approach to managing data from multiple Blue Prism enterprise environments, which is commonplace in complex organizations. Starting in version five two, users and service accounts can now be assigned to one or more access groups, which can be used to control the visibility of data from Blue Prism environments to users. This restricts the view of data across relevant hub plug ins, ensuring security and compliance. In our last roadmap presentation, we introduced this new release as being planned for Q4 twenty twenty five. Having reviewed this delivery timescale with impending third party end of life events, we've made the decision to defer this release to q one twenty twenty six to allow us to include an additional update to the product in the form of dot net 10 support. By releasing five two with our support statement for dot net 10, clients will be able to upgrade to this new release with the knowledge that they are prepared for the upcoming end of life of dot net eight, which was used in previous version five releases of Hub. This end of life event is expected to occur in November 2026. Interact will also receive several updates in the upcoming release of version 5.2. Through these updates we'll be making it easier for clients to manage the data that users submit through Interact, providing a flexible, integrated solution for data retention and deletion. Retention policies can now be configured per Interact form, with custom form rules leveraged to amend default policies on a per submission basis where data that is entered by users introduces changes to regulatory requirements. In addition to improved data management, attachments submitted through Interact will now be encrypted to protect any sensitive information that may need to be captured as part of a business process. As a plugin within Hub, the next version of Interact is also now expected to be released in Q1 twenty twenty six and will also support dot net 10. Now let's switch to SS and C Blue Prism CAPTCHA. CAPTCHA plays an important role in our product portfolio by helping you to discover new automations faster, gather together all the necessary requirements with a great level of detail and kick start automation development by having access to the skeleton of your recorded process and detailed process definition documents or PDDs. We've seen great levels of adoption with the latest version of Captcha by more than 600 clients, and we're excited to share the details of our latest release. Captcha version five is all about giving customers more control and a smoother experience when documenting their automations. With Captcha v5, customers can now upload their own branded document templates, generate solution design documents in addition to PDDs, and benefit from an up to 80% reduction in memory usage during recording. The refreshed interface, including dark mode, makes it easier and faster to capture processes accurately. Captcha v5 is available now, giving teams an immediate way to streamline the handoff from idea to delivery. I hope you found this overview of our current gen roadmap insightful. And with that in mind, I'll now hand over to Tom. Thanks, Rob, and hello, everyone. My name is Tom Saba, and in the next section, I'm gonna be taking you through the exciting developments that we've got upcoming in our next generation portfolio. And while you may not be a NextGen customer today, I wanna show you how this will be directly relevant to you both in the near term as well as for your long term automation roadmap. So let's start with an introduction to NextGen, the milestones that we've passed in the last few years, and what you can look forward to in the near future. Now NextGen is a multiyear program that's delivering a broad portfolio of business automation and orchestration capabilities. It sits on a whole new architecture built ground up on modern cloud native software stack. And back in March 2024, we had the market launch of our hybrid cloud RPA offering. This enables our customers and our partners to get all of the benefits of a continuously updated and enterprise grade cloud based service and yet keep the digital workers and the work they perform within the organizations firewall. And in the eighteen months since, we've greatly expanded the feature sets of April Next Gen, bringing a raft of net new functionalities to benefit our customers through our regular release cycle. Updates come every couple of weeks, and they bring continuous improvements, new capabilities, and also more to all customers who are on the platform. Now most recently, with the launch of Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4, we introduced our first powered by NextGen service, which allows us to extend the digital work orchestration capabilities of our NextGen control center to our Blue Prism Enterprise customer base. And this is achieved through our new automation orchestrator, which acts as a bridge between your Blue Prism Enterprise instances and the NextGen platform. Now importantly, the automation orchestrator also allows you to run a mixed fleet of next gen and current gen workers side by side, all managed through the same control plane, which means that you can take advantage of the next gen features today without having to migrate your automations. And best of all, this offering is available with no additional charge to all Blue Prism enterprise and Blue Prism cloud customers today. So going forward into the new year, we're gonna be expanding out our new range of NextGen capabilities way beyond RPA and digital workers to give you the ability to orchestrate workflows of digital workers, human workers, AI agents, and third party systems via APIs. So we'll start by looking at our RPA offering on NextGen. And the vision for our digital worker orchestration capabilities is for operators to be able to coordinate work and their digital workers with zero effort. You provide the organizational parameters, and we'll take care of the rest. So we're advancing towards this goal with our automated monitoring solution, which detects when there's an instance and services that through the system so that operators have all the information that they need to enable faster response and quicker workforce reallocation and to minimize disruption. So we're gonna continue to extend this functionality throughout 2026 and enabling us to detect more types of incidents as well as introducing self healing capabilities so that issues can be automatically resolved and recovered from. And throughout 2025, we've been delivering outcome parity for customers migrating over from Blue Prism Enterprise with support for native automation of Citrix, Java, and more. But over the next few months, we're gonna be continuing to build on these strong foundations that exist within our existing Blue Prism heritage and introduce support for an even wider range of tools and technologies that you use within your businesses, as well as adopting some of our more recent advancements in our Blue Prism enterprise products so that you can achieve the same outcomes across both generations of software. Now in the 2026, we're gonna be extending our deployment options for NextGen with fully hosted digital workers. This makes it really easy for customers who want to focus more on growing their automation program and less on managing the managing the infrastructure of those digital workers system. And this setup is gonna be very familiar to those of you who use our Blueprints and Cloud that we're still offering today. Now we're often asked by our customers to help them more easily articulate the benefits of our intelligent automation program. And in answer to this, we'll be providing scorecards within the SSSC Blueprints and Next Generation platform. And these scorecards will enable organizations to directly measure the success of automations against defined KPIs such as return on investments, SLA adherence, and time savings. And by giving business leaders a clear data backed view of automation impact, the scorecard removes any ambiguity and it really helps teams demonstrate tangible value to stakeholders. So this new capability empowers customers and partners to build compelling business cases for expanding automation by translating operational improvements into quantifiable outcomes. And with the scorecards, organizations can validate what's working, identify areas for further optimization, and to confidently secure management buyer to scale automation across their enterprise. So to help drive towards automation opportunities and simplify the creation of those new business cases, we're also looking to have greater flexibility in the way that our products are consumed. We want to help our customers and our partners scale to meet demand, and so we plan to introduce burst capacity licensing in the second half of twenty twenty six. It's designed to work alongside our existing license models, and this new capability will allow clients to stretch beyond the limits of their existing licenses to meet seasonal demands or unexpected peaks without needing to consider a permanent increase in their ongoing license counts. It also provides greater operational flexibility. Now burst capacity can also be leveraged by teams looking to pilot new automations that would have previously taken their system beyond their existing committed license notes, making it simpler to deploy new automations for proof of value exercises for new use cases. Now burst capacity will be delivered as a new option within our next gen RPA product first, but we have ambitions, to offering this as an additional powered by next gen service to our Blue Prism enterprise customers in the future. Now at this point, I'd like to introduce Automation Studio, which is our modern browser based design environment for RPA. Automation Studio simplifies design access to your automations, gives a clearer, more intuitive interface, and it really brings collaboration into the heart of automation development. So some of the key highlights in this space that I'd like to highlight are being able to review and to comment on automation designs directly on Canvas, which keeps feedback contextual, collaborative, and it speeds up review cycles. The ability to debug automations through the browser, No desktop client required, and that really helps simplify troubleshooting and permissions management. And finally, the ability to create and edit processes directly in the automation studio, which rounds out the full set of capabilities available both on the web and the desktop. So let's take a little look at how Automation Studio is good to develop over the next year. Our initial Automation Studio release is now available, and we're starting with process review and commenting of next gen processes and objects. So we often hear from our customers that process reviews happen outside of the product, over email or documents, which can cause version control issues and lost context. So with the Automation Studio, that review is built into the browser. You can open the designs directly in the web browser, add comments to process stages, and keep the discussions in context. So this modern UI makes navigation easier, and the entire experience is designed to support faster review cycles and stronger collaboration. This is about embedding review into the life cycle itself, not treating it as an afterthought. Now as we look ahead into the 2026, we're gonna be introducing browse based debugging in the automation studio, And this allows developers to connect to digital workers remotely and to step through automations directly within the browser, which reduces the dependency on having local application access or installed software for troubleshooting. And the goal here is to make debugging faster, more flexible, and more accessible across secure environments. We also plan to include clear error visibility and synchronized visual feedback so that developers can see each stage of the execution in real time. So together, these improvements will simplify troubleshooting and help teams resolve issues more efficiently. As we look further ahead, we'll continue to expand Automation Studio into a complete browser based design environment. Our goal here is to enable end to end process creation directly within the browser itself so that developers can build and refine automations more easily and with fewer dependencies on local installations. So alongside that, we're investing in accessibility to improvements to align with modern standards and to create a more inclusive experience for all users. And these updates form part of a broader push towards a modern RPA developer experience focused on performance, usability, and cross platform design tools that make Automation Studio faster, more capable, and more ready for the future of automation. So moving on from RPA, let's take a little look at the key set of capabilities coming to the NextGen platform, which is enabling human users to directly interact with automations. This is both initiating automations as well as participating where human judgment is required. Now the next gen form builder and the forthcoming human and the loop inbox closes the gap between your machine resources and your human workers. So the form builder is a no code workspace where you can design forms, need for manual input, things like approval, state of entry, or requests. And the submission of these forms can be used to trigger automations so that the human input becomes a natural part of the next generation life cycle. And then during an end to end workflow, if that system hits a step that requires a human decision maker or data validation, you can loop those work items through to a human in the loop. And the inbox functionality allows team members to review and act on that request before handing back to the automation to continue on afterwards. So together, we're making automation run more flexibly and more resiliently, supporting true collaboration between humans and machines. Now the first Form Builder release introduces a new way to start NextGen automations by submitting a form built right inside the platform, and we're adding a visual drag and drop form designer so that users can easily create and publish internal forms without any coding. Now when an operator submits a form, that data is sent on to the NextGen work queue where it can be used to automatically trigger an automation flow. And this really expands the ways the NextGen automations can be initiated. It's not just through schedules, APIs, or manually, but also through human inputs. And the form builder enables teams to start automations through simple structured requests like approvals, onboarding tasks, or service requests directly from the form. So let's take a look at the new form builder in action. We're gonna start by opening the new forms workspace and selecting create new form. And in this example, we're gonna be building out an employee onboarding form. And right away, you can see how flexible the group work builder is. You can add single or multi line fields, checkboxes, multi selects, and more. And you can also define conditional logic. For example, only showing certain fields or making certain fields required based on defined criteria. Now you can also add custom validation and form logic to control how users interact with the form and preview it live to make sure it looks and behaves exactly as intended before publishing. Now once your form is ready from form management, you use the settings gear there to configure what happens when the form is submitted. And in this first release, you'll be able to map your submissions to a specific NextGen work queue. So each form submission creates a new work item automatically. Now when you add a work queue trigger to any automation flow and submit the form, you'll see your item is picked up and is processed right from the NextGen control center. Now that is how the new Form Builder seamlessly connects people driven in place with your automated processes. But arriving in q two twenty twenty six, we're gonna be new the ability to bring human workers directly into automated workflows through an inbuilt inbox. The inbox provides a familiar mailbox style interface where users can see the work items assigned to them, and they can take action on those items. Those actions might include updating the status, editing form data, adding comments, or validating informational decisions that were made by a digital worker or by an AI agent. And the goal really is to help you expand your automation scope and to strengthen human machine collaboration and also to help your people work smarter and faster. How you talk about the human in the loop? Let's have a little look at the loop itself. Now, AgenTic Workflows is Blue Prism's forthcoming lightweight orchestration engine designed to empower you to build and to run orchestrated workflows that blend system integrations, RPA tasks, AI agents, and human inputs. Jetec Workflows provides you with a canvas to create end to end intelligent workflows, combining all of these resources and to use the right tool for the task at hand. Digital workers to interact with GUI applications and consistently deliver the same results every time, AI agents where flexibility or cognitive skills are needed, or team members where human judgment is required. Now, Ajentic Workflows is opening up for early access in q one before becoming generally available in q two, and these releases will deliver the core experience for designing, managing, and monitoring Ajentic Workflows. The visual workflow designer will provide a drag and drop interface to build workflows, sequence steps, and apply routing and business logic. And with the workflow activity monitor, operators can track workflow runs in real time, pause, resume, or stop them, and drill into individual runs in order to trace their history. Now we're gonna be providing the connector library with the first version that includes hundreds of prebuilt options available directly from your design canvas. Together, these capabilities are gonna help you significantly expand the automation scope and the ROI by unifying robotic, human, and AI driven work into a single orchestrated workflow environment. But the agent builder feature of the project workflows product represents our next major step expanding automation beyond deterministic rules based tasks. Within the agent builder workspace, you'll be able to design and deploy agents with clearly defined goals, giving the agents access to the exact tools and the data they need in order to execute with the workflow. Now these agents will be able to leverage the tools and the resources or even new Agensic workflows using model context protocol or MCP. And furthermore, through MCP tools and servers, we'll also allow workflows and connectors to be exposed as tools that provide structured context to AI client clients, be they agents built on our workflows platform or agents running elsewhere within your enterprise. Now we're also developing a built in agent testing interface to help you ensure quality and predictability to refine prompts and to structure agent outputs prior to deploying it within your workflows. And as we look ahead, this capability positions SSMC Blue Prism to support increasingly intelligent and autonomous workflows where AI agents don't just participate, but they actively collaborate with humans and digital workers to drive outcomes. So available in q two twenty twenty six, we're gonna empower you to extend the platform with custom integrations. And your automations and your agents are only as valuable as the data sources that are made available to them. So with easy connector creation, anyone's able to securely integrate with proprietary systems and unique data sources. And once your connections are defined, then you'll be able to add them to your next gen tenant to test and to start using them to power your workflow steps. Teams are not gonna be limited to prebuilt integrations or having to rely on crafting bespoke HTTP rules. We want you to be able to rapidly connect your agentic workflows to any system that your business relies upon. Now we're gonna look at a brief demo. The Genesys Workflows manifests as a new product within with several workspaces inside of it. And first of all, we have a workspace to build, manage, and to organize your workflows. You can view all of your workflows, manage their state, and open them in the new design canvas. And each flow starts with a trigger. A trigger can either be based on an event or a webhook perhaps or the arrival of an email, a human's input, or a time based scheduling trigger, for example. And after setting your trigger, you can proceed to configure your flow using the node based design language. Drop in an integration using one of the hundreds of out of the box connectors, invoke an AI agent using the inbuilt agent task, or call digital workers to perform work by the blue prism task. And when you need to bring your human workers in, do so using the inbuilt human in the loop task or perhaps systems like Teams or Slack to do the external human in the loop. Now our host of utilities and flow design features like delays and subflows will equip you with numerous tools to build out your automated workflows, both small and simple or perhaps large or complex. Now next, we've got a workspace to monitor workflow activity. And here, you can observe all of the currents and the historical workflow runs. You can visualize the statuses, pause, stop, and resume the current runs as well. And you can open individual instances to trace the history or flow run step by step. We've got workspaces to globally manage all of the connectors and all of the connections available within the instance as well. And we have here a workspace for building and the publishing of MCP servers. And this section provides the ability to deploy connector actions or perhaps even entire workflows encompassing business logic as tools that can be used to provide context to AI agents of whether those agents are built on workflows or elsewhere within your enterprise. Now the agents workspace empowers our clients to build and to manage tool equipped domain specific AI agents that can think, reason, and act within the context of your government workflows. So here, give your agent a name, provide it with a goal, outline instructions for what it should do, and constraints that it should follow, and link it to the appropriate source in order to use in order to achieve its goal. And before you publish that agent, it's a power steps in your workflows. So let's move on from workflows to the Blue Prism assistant, which introduces a new conversational interface available directly into NextGen. It gives users quick and reliable access to product help, documentation, and digital exchange assets without leaving their workspace. Instead of switching between portals or searching through long documents, users can simply ask a question and get an answer in seconds. The assistant helps teams stay focused to resolve issues faster and to discover reusable assets that accelerate building. By embedding this directly into next gen, we are removing the friction from everyday work. We're making it easier for every user, whether they're a developer or a business analyst, for them to learn, to troubleshoot, and build automations more efficiently. Now building on the in platform experience, Blue Prism Assistant will also soon be available directly in Microsoft Teams, and this brings product knowledge into the flow of work, which gives users fast and reliable answers without leaving the tools they already use every day. Users can ask natural language questions and they can get responses powered by retrieval augmented generation or WACC. And every answer is verified against official blueprints and documentation, which ensures guidance is not only quick, but it's also accurate and trustworthy. Now by embedding the assistant in Teams, we're also helping users learn, troubleshoot, and stay productive in one place, and availability is planned for q one next year. As we look ahead, Blue Prism Assistant will evolve from a help companion into a trusted co pilot that supports users throughout their automation journey. And teacher updates are going to connect users with community knowledge, smarter support, and richer design assistance. They'll be able to tap into peer discussions, search known issues, and access guidance from the Blue Prism community and the knowledge based articles in order to troubleshoot faster. The assistant is also gonna be able to start taking on more of the heavy lifting in the automation design, offering intelligent suggestions and intuitive guidance. And together, these improvements move us towards a seamless multi agent experience that makes automation simpler for everyone. Now the finalizing for us to cover in this section is self hosted NextGen. Everything that we've described in this next year roadmap will be available as a service from Blue Prism served from our global cloud platform, But we do have some customers and partners who want or need to self host their automation technology. After those organizations, we will have a self hosted version of NextGen available by the 2026. Now this is gonna be a containerized application stack, and it's gonna be running natively on Kubernetes and also leveraging a variety of leading open technologies for communications and also for data storage. So if you're excited to move to NextGen, but you can't adopt a cloud service, self hosted NextGen will meet you where you are. And with that, I'd like to hand you over to Ben. Thanks. I'm Benjamin Watson, chair of the SS and C Global AI Governance Committee and director of product for the SS and C Innovation Labs within the office of the CTO. Let's talk about what's happening in the market right now and why it's creating such strong tailwinds for us. First, regulation is catching up. The EU AI Act, US state level regulations, and a wave of global standards are forcing organizations to move beyond informal governance. It is no longer enough to have AI teams policing themselves. We need audible, real time guardrails that prove compliance, not just promise it. That's exactly where our platform shines. We operationalize compliance through workflows that map directly to those new laws. Second, we are seeing the enterprise scale adoption of AI. Companies are moving from small experiments to enterprise wide deployments where thousands of employees interact with AI every single day, and that's creating a governance gap, a gap that traditional IT tools simply can't bridge. By combining chat, gateway, and governance, we close that gap and deliver the structure needed for safe, scalable AI. Finally, we're shifting from a world of AI labs building models to one focused on operationalizing AI, making it repeatable, measurable, and safe. Success isn't about who can build the best model anymore. It's about who can govern and run AI responsibly at scale. And that's what the SS and C AI Gateway provides, the missing infrastructure for consistent telemetry, analytics, and safety, all in one ecosystem. The winds are strong. Regulation, adoption, and enterprise needs are all pushing in our favor. Our job now is to raise the sales and capture that momentum. When we talk about our platform vision for 2026, it's really about meeting customers where they already are across every cloud and infrastructure model, whether that's a private cloud deployment for the most regulated institutions on either VMware or OpenShift or public cloud environments like GCP, Azure, and AWS, the platform adapts seamlessly. Our goal is not to force a migration or a specific or over to a specific stack. It's to deliver agentic, composable AI operations that can live anywhere. The same governance guardrails and analytics capabilities that power our AI Gateway today will extend across all of these infrastructures creating one unified layer for AI governance, safety, and scale. At the core is the AI operations platform, a connected ecosystem of components that work together. We've already completed key building blocks like the basic AI governance, AI gateway, guardrails, and AI chat. Next on the roadmap are advanced capabilities, complete life cycle management, agent infrastructure, analytics, and more advanced AI chat capabilities, all focused on making AI operational, observable, and accountable at enterprise scale. By 2026, this platform becomes the connective tissue for how organizations build, deploy and govern AI responsibly, no matter their infrastructure, no matter their maturity. Simple at its core, powerful in its reach and fully aligned with the way enterprises actually work. That's our vision, a unified agentic AI platform that meets customers where they are and takes them where they need to go. As we look ahead to the 2026, our focus is on execution, delivering the capabilities that make our AI operations platform the most open, flexible, and enterprise ready system on the market. First, we are expanding multi cloud platform support. By midyear, we'll have full interoperability across VMware, OpenShift virtualization, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This ensures that our clients can deploy and govern AI workloads wherever they are already operating without compromising compliance, telemetry, or control. Second, we are introducing end to end AI and agent life cycle management. This includes managing vendors, use cases, eval frameworks, and changes to prompts through a governed auditable process, giving enterprises the same kind of rigor that they already apply to traditional IT systems. Next, the prompt workshop. This is where teams will deploy will develop version, and test prompts and models in a structured audible environment. Think of this like a DevOps style workspace for prompt engineering, complete with version control, unit testing, and model validation. And finally, we're opening up the platform through an integration framework that makes it easy for third parties to connect, extend, and build on top of what we've already created. We're not trying to lock anyone in. We're building the ecosystem that lets innovation flourish within governance boundaries. Together, these themes define our 2026 vision, multi platform, end to end lifecycle management of AI uses and agents. It's about giving organizations the control, transparency, and flexibility that they need without slowing down innovation. That's the foundation we're building on for the AI gateway in 2026. When we think about deployment, one size never fits all, especially in the financial services and regulated enterprise world. That is where our platform has been built from the start to be deployment agnostic, offering four flexible models that meet customers exactly where they are. First, the SS and C private cloud, our most popular option in The US and in The UK. It's powered by high performance H100 and H200 GPUs and supports open source models like QEN, LLAMA and pass throughs for third party host and model offerings. This deployment gives clients maximum control and compliance through our sovereignty broker, which will enable workloads to remain within approved geographical boundaries. Next is the SS and C managed AWS instance, where we deliver inference through AWS bedrock and reserved GPU models. It's a great option for clients already operating in AWS who want to take advantage of elastic scaling while maintaining that same sovereignty assurance. Then for clients with the highest data residency requirements, we offer private client hyperscaler deployments. Inference runs entirely on hyperscaler GPUs wherever they are available. Your data never leaves your private cloud instance. You choose and deploy the models you want with the same sovereignty broken controls layered right on top. And finally, bring your own cloud. Every service we provide can be deployed within a customer's own private environment, giving complete control over governance, telemetry, and compliance posture. Across all of these models, the key takeaway is flexibility. The ability to deploy anywhere while maintaining the same governance and sovereignty standards that define SS and C's platform. It's about meeting customers where they are today and giving them the confidence to scale AI safely tomorrow. One of the most powerful capabilities we're bringing to the platform is the ability to track to chat directly with your business systems and data safely with the role based access governance and at enterprise scale. We call this capability SS and C domain experts, powered by Atomic MCP agents. Through the SS and C AI gateway, we can take any AI specification from an internal system or a third party source and instantly convert it into a domain expert. That expert becomes deployable inside of SS and C AI chat through a digital worker or custom applications on top of the SS and C gateway. These Atomic MCP agents can query, update, insert, and delete, giving you real time auditable control of your data. They connect your systems to AI inference and chat seamlessly, creating a bridge between structured enterprise data and conversational experiences. Here's how it all comes together. On the left, we have SS and C zone domain experts, platforms like Advent, EZ, Geneva, and Chorus, each becoming an intelligent, chat capable interface. On the right, you see external domain experts from SAP, Bloomberg, FactSet, ServiceNow, S and P Global, and others. Together, they form a connected ecosystem of AI accessible expertise, all orchestrated through the AI gateway and governed centrally through AI governance. This means you can ask questions like what is my fund's exposure to energy? Show me reconciliation exceptions from yesterday's trades and get live governed responses straight from the systems of record without even leaving compliance boundaries. With SS and C domain experts, we're not just enabling chat, we're creating a living network of AI ready knowledge across the enterprise. It's the bridge between your data, your systems and your people, all connected safely through the AI gateway. That's what makes this next generation of AI not just intelligent, but truly operational. We here within the SS and C Innovation Labs are incredibly excited for what we're bringing to market over the next year, and we cannot wait to see what amazing things our clients and partners build with the platform. So let's review some key takeaways from the intelligent automation roadmap. First, we're enabling a new era of automations that unify digital workers, humans, and AI agents to work in harmony and coordinate work wherever needs to happen. We're also introducing new capabilities that allow you to define your agents and connect them to hundreds of prebuilt connectors with the option to leverage our AI gateway to maximize security and governance. New Jentic workflows enable you to involve humans in the loop as well as leverage other communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and chat interfaces. We're also delivering on the goal of operational excellence, giving you the ability to better orchestrate, manage, and analyze your automation programs at scale, tracking important alerts and metrics such as return on investment. And, additionally, we're introducing AI augmented automations where you can use natural language within your RPA processes, unlocking a new way to automate your applications. And lastly, we're committed to unifying and improving your user experience, including enhancements to the new automation studio and the overall look and feel of our platform. And we're also making upgrades easier with Blue Prism seven .5 and adding more deployment options for the NextGen platform, including SS and C hosted NextGen and self hosted deployment to the cloud provider of your choice.
